Hyundai Motor India has officially revealed the 2024 Creta SUV ahead of its launch on January 16, 2024. The bookings for the updated SUV have already commenced at a token amount of Rs 25,000. Deliveries can be expected to begin later this month, following the price announcement.
The manufacturer has been drip-teasing the 2024 iteration of the SUV for a while now.In its latest avatar, the Creta comes with a host of cosmetic upgrades over the outgoing SUV and gets a slew of new features, including an ADAS bundle. The updated model will be offered in seven variants, including E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX(O).

The 2024 Creta features a fully revamped front fascia, showcasing a broad and sleek three-row grille that diverges significantly from the parametric jewels found on other models in the company’s lineup.

The SUV’s front now boasts a more upright and bold stance compared to its predecessor. Notable changes include updated projector LED headlights, H-shaped LED DRLs reminiscent of the new Santa Fe in the international market, a fresh bumper design, and vertically stacked fog lamps.
Moving to the rear, the upcoming model boasts a connected LED tail lamp arrangement, accompanied by a fresh bumper, a sporty roof-mounted spoiler, and a redesigned tailgate to accommodate these updates. The SUV’s side profile remains largely unchanged, except for the introduction of new alloy wheels, expected to be offered in 17-inch and 18-inch options depending on the trim.

From what has been seen in the teaser images so far, the most prominent upgrade in the interior of the new Creta includes two 10.25-inch screens, besides new design elements on the dash, along with refreshed textures and materials for the upholstery.
Notable upgrades that we are likely to see on the model include dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a Level 2 ADAS suite with 19 functions. The introduction of a 360-degree camera and a blind spot monitoring system is also likely.
2024 Hyundai Creta: Powertrain
The 2024 Creta is set to feature three engine options, the existing 1.5-litre petrol and diesel units from the outgoing model and a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine sourced from the latest-gen Verna, which will replace the discontinued 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol motor. In terms of transmission options, the new Creta can be had with a 6-speed manual, IVT, 7-speed DCT, and a 6-speed automatic.
