Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the next-gen Swift in India on May 9, 2024. The bookings for the next-gen Swift have commenced in India at a token amount of Rs 11,000 with deliveries expected to begin from next month. The model was launched in December last year in its home country Japan. Here, let’s take a look at what to expect from the refreshed hatch.

The new Swift gets an overall refreshed design, featuring updates such as a redesigned front bumper, a new grille, and updated headlamps with LED DRLs. The Suzuki logo now sits prominently at the top of the bonnet, while the sides boast newly-designed dual-tone alloy wheels. The model also features blacked-out ORVMs, roof, and pillars.
At the rear end, the hatchback sports a redesigned tailgate and a new bumper with a skid plate. Besides that, the global-spec model also features an integrated spoiler with a stop light. The LED tail lights now come with distinctive C-shaped DRLs, adding a touch of modernity to the design.

The cabin is set to be upgraded and will likely be inspired by its siblings Baleno and Fronx, with the addition of a larger touchscreen infotainment system. It also offers advanced features like lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning systems. However, it’s uncertain whether Indian customers will receive the full suite of ADAS features.
