The second issue involves an inappropriate molding procedure of the sensor housing, which could result in a gap occurring in the sensor body sealing that may cause water entry inside the bank angle sensor. This leads to chances of a possible sensor malfunction and vehicle stalling. H’ness CB350 and CB350 bikes manufactured between October 2020 to December 2021 are affected by this.
Honda H’ness CB350 and CB350RS owners can head to the Honda BigWing website and look out for the ‘Recall Campaign’ option on the homepage. You will then be asked to select your motorcycle model, and enter the 17-digit VIN/chassis number to see if your vehicle is affected by either or both of the two issues.
HMSI says vehicle owners would need to take a prior appointment before visiting the dealership, and the replacement of the faulty part would take approximately one hour. The replacement will be done free of cost irrespective of the warranty status of the motorcycle.
