Popular singer Arijit Singh, known for his calm demeanour, recently confronted a group of fans who were chasing his car while overspeeding and blowing their horns, assumingly to catch his attention. The incident was captured on video, which has since gone viral on social media.
In the video, the singer is seen explaining to the fans what they did was wrong. Speaking in Bengali, asked “Do you realize how many times you have honked? Whom are you disturbing by doing this? Me or the other people on the road?”
He then went on to ask them “If you want to meet me, does that give you a right to harass other people on the road?” And after that, staying true to his personality, he agreed for a picture despite what happened. “You wanted a picture, right? Come on, take your picture but please don’t honk like this,” he noted.
The video has been praised by many social media users for Singh’s calmness and maturity in handling the situation. Some fans have also expressed their concern for Singh’s safety, given the chaotic nature of the incident as not long ago, a fan pulled his hand during a concert which ended up hurting him.
