According to a recent report by Bollywood Life, Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, ‘Stardom,’ will depict the story of a young boy from Delhi with ambitious dreams of reaching the pinnacle of the industry and achieving ‘Stardom.’ An insider informed the portal that the narrative of ‘Stardom’ will resonate with viewers as it draws parallels to the journey of Shah Rukh Khan, the King of Bollywood, in the industry.

In the same interview, the insider also noted that it cannot be definitively stated that the story will be entirely based on Shah Rukh Khan’s real life.

The source added that the project will not be SRK’s biopic, but viewers may discover fragments of the actor’s life through the character of the young Delhi boy.

The same report also indicated that Ranbir Kapoor would make a cameo in the series, while Lakshya Lalwani would play the lead role. Another report suggested that ‘Stardom’ would be a Tinseltown comedy, shedding light on the day-to-day lives and emotional and artistic challenges faced by actors.

Earlier, a report by Koimoi mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan expressed the desire to be a part of his son Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, ‘Stardom.’ However, Aryan declined his father’s involvement for a specific reason. A close source revealed that Aryan declined his dad’s appearance in his directorial debut because he wanted to avoid comments labeling him as ‘privileged’ at this early stage of his career. Additionally, the young filmmaker reportedly turned down a substantial Rs. 120 crores offer from OTT giants. He had no intention of selling an unfinished product, even as the OTT platforms were eager to sign the series for follow-up seasons while the first season was still in production.
