She underwent brain surgery before being medically evacuated back to Australia in June.

On Tuesday evening, Paul Enwright announced his wife’s death to friends and family on Facebook.

“Kylee passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones,” he wrote.

“Kylee suffered a second brain bleed on Sunday morning that was catastrophic and insurvivable (sic).

“Until this point Kylee had been making amazing progress from her initial brain injury suffered in Thailand.

“Kylee was a one-of-a-kind wife, mother to Harrison, Jacinda and Slade, grandmother to Aurora and Leo, and mother-in-law to Ellie and Xander.

“Kylee was one of the kindest, most generous people I have had the privilege to know.

“Kylee, Rest in Peace my darling until we meet again. I love you.”

Enwright revealed eight people will receive organs donated by Kylee.

“Her spirit will live on a while longer through them,” he said.

Enwright was by his wife’s side when she was placed in a hospital bed in the back of a Boeing 777 on a medevac flight back to Australia in June.

She had been sedated and was supported by a breathing tube.

The flight from Thailand to Australia cost more than $200,000 which had been entirely funded by generous Australians through a fundraiser.

At the time of the incident, the Enwrights were having drinks at their hotel and were less than 24 hours into their two-week holiday.

It is unknown what caused Kylee to fall, but Enwright believes she was trying to find a different route back from the toilet to avoid the rain.

They had purchased travel insurance for their trip but later learned provider Cover-More excluded incidents involving alcohol.

Paul Enwright said earlier the insurer’s medical evaluation estimated Kylee had a blood alcohol level of 0.37 – which he disputes.

“They’ve just estimated her weight against her height, which weren’t actually taken at the hospitals,” he said.

“They didn’t do any blood and alcohol tests at either of the hospitals that we went to.

“We weren’t drink-driving, we weren’t on scooters, we weren’t in the traffic or public areas.”

Friends and family paid tribute to Kylee on her husband’s Facebook post.

“Kylee was such a beautiful lady full of life. You will be sadly missed Kylee. Thinking of you all at this sad time,” one person wrote.
