A Bay Area man was arrested three separate times across four days, the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office said.

The 30-year-old man was most recently arrested on Wednesday for allegedly burglarizing a Castro Valley house on Keith Avenue, the sheriff’s office said in a social media post.

The resident of the house called the police after their security system notified them of the burglary, Lt. Tya Modeste, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office, told SFGATE. A man fled the scene before police arrived.

The suspect later returned to the home and was arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of unlawful drugs, Modeste said. The man had a controlled substance and equipment to use it, she said.

Two days before the suspected burglary, the man was arrested on suspicion of stealing from a local gas station. And in the first arrest on Saturday, he was apprehended on suspicion of possessing drugs after he was approached for allegedly trying to steal packages from a house.

The suspect was booked into Santa Rita Jail on Wednesday afternoon with a $55,000 bail, according to jail records.

Modeste said as of Thursday, the man was cited and released from jail. He received a notice to appear in court for the first and second arrests. The man is scheduled to appear in court on Friday morning for the burglary.
