Best high performance blender for soups and smoothies: Vitamix Explorian E310 is 20 per cent off

I bought my first Vitamix blender at the age of 19 for a cool $750 and at the time it was the most expensive purchase I’d made.

I was vegan at the time and I knew it was going to make my life of endless smoothies and soups that much simpler, as well as crushing down meal toppers like almond nuts and cashews.

I actually still own that Vitamix to this day some 10 years later and it’s at the same peak performance it was all that time ago.

So when I spotted the Vitamix Explorian for sale on Amazon Australia, I seriously considered trading up.

The E310 High-Performance Blender normally retails for $649 but it’s currently down to a record-low $518.

There are 10 variable speeds and a pulse function that allow you to manually refine every texture with culinary precision, from the smoothest purees to coarse chops for chunky salsas or hot thick soups without a stovetop.

It comes with a BPA-free blending container and is insulated to maintain cold temperatures, which is helpful when you’re trying to blitz a frozen smoothie.

To clean it you simply need to drop in a small amount of dish soap, blend at the highest speed and your container will self-clean in 60 seconds.

“Don’t even spend time looking at cheaper blenders. Wait for this to go on sale and buy it. It will blend anything you throw at it within reason and it seems to be incredibly well built compared to its plastic competitors,” one woman said.

“Love this Vitamix, I use it almost everyday making soups, smoothies, nut milk, salsa — the list goes on. Don’t know how I lived without it,” said another.

A third added: “This blender is amazin for morning smoothies, soups and a range of other day to day requirements. If I ever have extra large quantities to blend, I just do it in two batches but this is very rarely needed”.
