BharatPe, a leading fintech company in India, has launched a new Android point-of-sale (PoS) terminal called BharatPeSwipe Android. The machine offers multiple modes of digital payment acceptance, including debit/credit cards, UPI, mobile wallets, and QR code. This makes it a convenient and efficient option for merchants of all sizes. Merchants can easily set up and use the BharatPeSwipe Android by downloading the BharatPe app on their Android phone or tablet and pairing it with the PoS machine. The device is powered by Android 10 operating system, has a 5.5-inch HD touch screen, a long-lasting battery, and supports fast charging. It is also compatible with 4G and Wi-Fi for better connectivity. With BharatPeSwipe Android, merchants can accept QR payments via dynamic QR generated on the machine and generate physical receipts for the QR payments done. The company aims to double its POS network count over the next 12 months with the launch of BharatPe Swipe Android. Currently, BharatPe serves 1 crore merchants and processes more than 300 million UPI transactions per month.
