The i5 M60 xDrive trim houses a 83.9kWh (81.2kWh usable) battery pack that comes with a WLTP range of 516km on a fully-juiced battery. It also gets two motors, one equipped on each axle, producing a total of 601 hp and 795 Nm of peak torque. This EV can achieve 100 kmph from a standstill in just 3.8 seconds and gets a top speed governed at 230 kmph.
For the charging options, the sedan comes with a standard 11kW wall charger, while an optional 22kW AC charger is also available. The manufacturer claims that the i5 has 205kW DC charging capability, which will allow it to juice up from 10-80 percent in under 30 minutes.
In India, the BMW i5 will come in Alpine White, which is a solid colour. If you want something different, you can choose from several metallic colours like M Brooklyn Grey, M Carbon Black, Cape York Green, Phytonic Blue, Black Sapphire, Sophisto Grey, Oxide Grey, and Mineral White.
