BMW India commences bookings for stunning 601 hp i5 M60 EV: 516 km range, 0-100 kmph in 3.8s and more

BMW has been expanding its portfolio in India, especially in the EV segment as part of its electrification strategy. Carrying the momentum for the BEV segment, the German manufacturer has commenced the bookings for its sixth electric model in India, the i5 M60. Starting from today, the car, which will arrive on our shores as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) model, can be booked at any BMW dealership network or through the BMW Online Shop.Deliveries are slated to begin in May.
The BMW i5 M60 is currently sold in the international markets equipped with a 84.3 kWh battery pack. It boasts an power output of 601 hp and 820 Nm of peak torque, propelling it to 100 kmph from a standstill in just 3.8 seconds. This dual-motor, all-wheel drive EV also comes with an exceptional WLTP range of 516 km, enough to kill any sort of range anxiety in India. In terms of charging, the manufacturer offers a 110V/220V flexible fast charging cable. The top-speed of this EV is governed at 209 kmph.

In terms of features, this EV comes equipped with a 12.3-inch infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity along with a 14.9-inch driver’s display. Other notable features include a dynamic cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, rear-window defroster among other features. Speaking of safety, it boasts of features such as anti-theft alarm system, rear-view camera, park distance control, head protection system for front and rear passengers, lane departure warning, front collision warning, blind spot detection and more.
