One of the best shows on TV is back in 2024, as The Traitors returns to BBC One and iPlayer. Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, The Traitors is a reality game show in which more than 20 players compete for a potential £120,000 prize fund. Taking place in a Scottish castle, a handful of contestants are secretly given the role of Traitors, and must “murder” their fellow players (the Faithful) without being discovered. If any of the Traitors survive to the end without being voted out, they take home the prize money. If, however, the Faithful successfully catch all of the Traitors, then the prize money belongs to them.

With twists, turns and plenty of tension, The Traitors has fast become one of the most popular series on television.

If you can’t get enough of the paranoid roundtable discussions, deceitful finger pointing and general backstabbing, then you’re going to love the new Traitors board game available on Amazon.

Supporting 4-6 people, the game sees players work together to compete tasks and build a prize fund.

The Traitors must also earn the right to murder at night, carrying out secret missions during the group tasks.

Players can also compete for special rewards, such as shields that provide immunity during the murder phase.

After tasks have been completed and a murder committed, players come together at the roundtable, much like in the show.

Unlike the TV series, however, murdered players will be able to return, just not during the next vote. Banished players and murdered players will instead lose gold pieces.

This is important, because the two players with the most gold at the end of the game will compete for the prize fund.

In one final twist, the two finalists can choose to split the prize, or attempt to take it for themselves.

In addition to the board game, fans of the show can pick up a slightly cheaper Traitors card game, which features a slightly diffrerent rule set, not to mention app support.
