Two Carlton fans are celebrating more than just the win over Melbourne after getting engaged at the MCG on Thursday night.
During the half-time break of the blockbuster clash, Josh popped the question to Emily as Taylor Swift’s Love Story was playing in the stadium.

With cameras fixed on the couple and Swift’s hit song hitting its climax with the lyric — “He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring” — Josh did exactly that.
Emily couldn’t believe it and immediately said yes, much to the delight of the fans close by and those watching on the big screen.
“These two here, Josh and Emily, you wouldn’t believe it, Josh got down on bent knee and proposed to the lovely Emily,” Channel 7 commentator Brian Taylor said.
“And what a spot to do it at the MCG. I don’t know where you did it, Al. I think I might have been at the drive-in or something. Can’t remember.”
Fellow commentator Alister Nicholson was impressed with Josh’s bravery.
“That’s about the bravest thing I’ve seen at the MCG since Browny’s mark in 2002,” he replied.
Fans flooded social media with congratulations.
“Congratulations to the happy couple! What a cracking game to do it at too,” one fan said.
“Congratulations to these 2 love birds,” another said.
“Can’t stand stadium proposals lol but I wish them a very happy marriage and life together,” another added.
