Gold Trip will also match the feats of recent Caulfield Cup winners, Incentivise and Verry Elleegant, who both won the Group 1 Turnbull Stakes before Caulfield Cup success.

Race 2 No.2 RIFF ROCKET
Our preview article two weeks ago suggested not only was he a bet in the Super Impose Stakes but also the $51 for him to win the Victoria Derby was a good bet given the ratings he was producing north of the border. He won the Super Impose clocking the fastest last 400m of the day and is now the $2.50 favourite to win the Derby. Sit back and watch this horse, he could be something special.

Ran in some top 2YO races last season without success but indicated she had come back in good order trialling well before a big first-up win at Warwick Farm. She ran fast time and the rating she produced says she can take this next step up.
