Celina opened up about feeling protected in the film industry until the demise of her mentor, Mr. Feroz Khan. The actress during her conversation with Zoom confessed to facing several uncomfortable situations, but being a war hero’s daughter, she navigated them.She made sure to stay true to her principles.
Further, reflecting on the state of women’s liberation, Celina acknowledged the sacrifices and struggles of countless females across centuries that paved the way for today’s progress. Despite advancements, she emphasized the ongoing fight for equality, condemning violence and the repercussions of decisions made by war-driven individuals.

In the conversation, the actress also discussed the MeToo movement in Bollywood. Celina identified the root issue as power dynamics. She stressed the need for systemic changes and legal protections to address sexual harassment comprehensively. She mentioned that despite the awareness raised about sexual harassment via the movement, the issue still prevails and some tough calls should be made to address the same.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Celina recently took up singing. The actress mentioned that her late mother always wanted her to sing, but she hardly paid any heed to the suggestion. However, after her mother’s demise, it was grief that led Celina to music, and she was surprised that her songs will be received with such appreciation.
