Check out new prices as Tata Nexon, Harrier, and Safari become pricier than before: Tata Cars’ Price Hike

Tata Motors had recently announced a marginal price hike of 0.6% across models and variants, coming into effect from July 17, 2023 onwards. The price increment was announced to offset the residual impact of the past input costs. As a part of the price hike, the company’s ICE SUVs have become pricier by up to Rs 20,000.
The prices of Nexon,
Harrier
as well as
Safari
have now been hiked by up to Rs 20,000, varying across different variants.With the price hike in place, the
Tata Nexon
is now priced from Rs 8 lakh, going up to Rs 14.60 lakh. The Harrier now starts from Rs 15.20 lakh, going all the way up to Rs 24.27 lakh. Prices for the Safari now range from Rs 15.85 lakh to Rs 25.22 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).

Tata Motors says that it will offer price protection to bookings made up to July 16, 2023 and deliveries up to July 31, 2023. The
Nexon
is available with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine making 120 PS power, along with a 1.5-litre diesel motor putting out 115 PS. Meanwhile the Harrier and Safari are both offered with the same FCA-sourced 2.0-litre diesel engine putting out 170 PS of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque.

Tata Motors also recently introduced two new variants of the Altroz, XM and XM(S) with a base price of Rs 6.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The XM variant sits between XE and XM+, and is effectively the car’s more affordable variant with an electric sunroof.
