The rumors began thanks to a report from industry publication HITS Daily Double. The outlet reported that Del Rey and Tyler, the Creator are confirmed for the festival while discussions concerning Doja Cat are ongoing. No official word has come from the festival or artists.

A Coachella performance would make it two major California festivals in two years for Lana Del Rey, who played a haunting headlining set at Outside Lands last August.

Dana Jacobs/Getty ImagesIt would be a quick return to Coachella for Doja Cat if she is indeed tapped to headline. The rapper/singer played the festival less than two years ago in 2022. Doja Cat has been on tour since last October, including a Halloween show at San Francisco’s Chase Center.

Coachella, which brings massive crowds to Southern California every spring, has come from fairly humble beginnings to become one of the biggest events of the pop culture calendar. Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK, Frank Ocean and Blink 182 headlined last year. This year’s festival will take place over the weekends of April 12-14 and April 19-21 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
