Coffs Harbour’s Headland Property Now Available for Sale

A rare coastal headland property is up for grabs, located in northern NSW.

The sprawling Coffs Harbour plot surrounded by untouched nature features two houses and the prospect for more, with expressions of interest closing on Tuesday.

Drive up the headland to Digger’s Point at Coffs Harbour, and you’ll find 29 Charlesworth Bay, where a main single-storey home — with four bedrooms and three bathrooms — is filled with light and surrounded by world-class views.

Now the home — and the surrounding two acres of private land offering access to two stunning beaches — is on sale for the first time in 40 years.

“There’s a walking path, literally at the back doorstep, which will take you around and walk you down to Diggers Beach,” LJ Hooker property agent David Lonie told 7NEWS.com.au.

“The path also winds around to the other side (of the headland), which is Charlesworth Bay.”

“It’s the majority of the headland, it’s two acres.”

A separate flat complete with a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom overlooking Diggers Beach can also be found on the property.

The property also has an additional five allotments available, subject to council approval.

The listing describes dreamy possibilities: “Watch the whales frolic as you catch the sun rays for breakfast …. the living room warms nicely in the morning sun too — a perfect spot to sit, coffee in hand, letting minutes, hours and even days drift by.”

The headland is shared with just one other property on a smaller allotment up the top — the rest is a national park.

“You can count on two hands how many properties that are like this between Byron Bay and Sydney,” Lonie told 7NEWS.com.au

“It is a very sought-after pocket of Coffs Harbour anyway, but to be able to secure two acres is a rarity.”

The current owner, who has called the property home for the last 40 years now, is now looking to downsize.

“She’s getting a little bit older, so it’s certainly not something she can maintain anymore,”
