Comsol phone chargers pulled from Officeworks shelves over electrocution concerns: ‘Stop using immediately’

Multiple phone chargers have been recalled from Officeworks over concerns they pose an electrocution risk.

The Keji USB dual port wall charger 2.4A, Comsol 20W USB-C Wall Charger and Comsol dual port USB wall charger 3.4A/17W have all been recalled.

All three chargers are sold at Officeworks and supplied by Comsol Pty Ltd.

The wall plug can break off the main body of the chargers, exposing the internal wires.

This poses a risk of serious injury or death from an electric shock or electrocution.

The affected model numbers of the Keji USB dual port wall charger 2.4A are numbers WCDE24BK and WCDE24WH.

The model number WCC202W of the Comsol 20W USB-C Wall Charger is affected. The charger is sold separately, but is also included in Comsol 20W Fast Charge Lightning 2.5m kits.

The charger’s model number can be found near the pins of the power plug.

The affected model number of the Comsol dual port USB wall charger 3.4A/17W is number WCN34WH.
