Fortunately, a delivery boy happened to be passing by on his motorcycle and came to her rescue. The incident was captured on CCTV cameras and the footage has gone viral on social media. The video shows the girl being surrounded by at least five dogs, who try to attack her while she tries to defend herself. A 49-second-long clip shows the girl crying for help as the dogs bite her. However, the delivery boy stops his vehicle and chases the dogs away, saving the girl.
In another incident, a pet dog was brutally beaten to death by villagers in a village in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district. The incident was captured on video and went viral on social media. The video shows a group of villagers beating the helpless animal with sticks until it died. The incident took place in Kaithra village and the dog’s owner filed a complaint with the local police. Investigation into the complaint has been initiated and legal action will be taken based on the outcome of the probe. The attack on the dog was reportedly a result of a personal dispute between the owner and a local panchayat office-bearer, as well as frustrations with the dog’s continuous barking.
