According to an old report in Filmfare, during the audition process for ‘Animal,’ Sara expressed a strong interest in a role.Although Parineeti Chopra had already been selected as the lead, Sara auditioned for the second lead. Despite her hopeful outlook, it appeared that Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director, was not particularly enthusiastic about casting her in the role.

The report further added that upon reviewing Sara Ali Khan’s audition, Vanga was convinced that she wouldn’t be a suitable fit for the role and might not effectively portray such a bold character. Subsequently, it was Tripti Dimri’s audition that greatly impressed the team working on Animal, leading to her being selected and finalized for the part.

Tripti’s bold scenes in the film with Ranbir was also leaked before the release of the movie, creating hysteria on social media.
