What is your favorite game-script build and why?

squirrelpatrol: Dallas is favored by a point here, and we’ve finally got a game total over 50. Dallas players are generally cheaper than the Chargers on both sites – with more expensive than , more expensive than , etc. So I’ll lean into the savings and play this game for a high-scoring Dallas win.

headChopper: Tons of offense. The kind of game where 1 TD from some random guy as his only catch of the game doesn’t mean much. There will be plenty of scoring in my game script. Dallas was embarrassed last week and will look to prove a point against a porous defense. Meanwhile, Kellen Moore knows this defense and will attack it properly.

kmurray03: There is a 50.5 total on this one, so there should be some solid fantasy production. The Chargers are underdogs here, and that is my favorite script to build around; the Cowboys leading the Chargers in catch-up mode.

Bobby Gomes: The stars are out tonight on both sides. The spread is close, and the total is as big as we’ve seen in Week 6. If I’m building 150 lineups, it makes sense to have balanced builds with the Chargers and Cowboys, as opposed to an onslaught of one team. That said, using against this horrendous Chargers secondary looks like it is going to be a less popular play than , , , and . Lamb presents as much upside as all of them on any given week.

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

squirrelpatrol: I’ll be playing the large-field contests and aiming to be overweight the Dallas players, hoping that the more casual entries in this contest click on the more expensive (but underdog) Chargers.

headChopper: 20-entry max – For me, there are too many options for a single lineup. I typically don’t want to wade out into the 150-entry max on Showdowns, so 20-entry max gets me plenty of lineups without the massive-field numbers. I plan on using different combinations of my favorite chalky players. I’ll also “x” out the D/STs here.

kmurray03: Single Entry – I have found a lot of success in single-entry tournaments on these Showdown slates, and they are quite fun to build for as well. You can usually take subtle stances against the field and be quite profitable. Many turn to a QB in the CPT spot, however, I like using a position player there, and I will be using or in that spot.

Bobby Gomes: I will be MME’ing the Milly Maker and will be differentiating my builds with unique Chargers stacks in an attempt to set myself apart from the crowd. The Chargers are currently 5th in yards per game (388.8). The Kellen Moore revenge game should bode well for and his 106.3 QBR. looked like Joe Montana against the Cowboys last week, throwing 4 touchdown passes. is averaging 8.8 yards per catch and 108 yards per game. Needless to say, he’ll be in many of my CPT/MVP slots. Both teams have two of the top seven implied team totals from this Week 6 slate, which makes it seem like a shootout is on the horizon. Herbert-Allen-Lamb builds provide us with as much upside as you can get from a ceiling perspective. If plays, he’ll be extremely involved filling in for . Palmer is a cheaper WR pivot off of Allen. and rookie (bump Johnston if Palmer sits) are both sub $5,000 on DK. Both kickers are also firmly in play in that sub $5k range on those Allen-Herbert-Lamb builds.

What is an example of one rule you can program into LineupHQ to capitalize on the above strategies?

squirrelpatrol: Groups > Player Groups > Conditional Player CPT/MVP > Use 2 to 3 > Dallas WR/TEs as players in the group

headChopper: Player Pool > Defense > Exclude Build Rules > Unique Players > 3

kmurray03: Groups > New Player Group > Conditional Player = CPT/MVP > Use 1-1 player ()

Bobby Gomes: Groups > Player Groups > Conditional Player CPT/MVP > use 2 to 3 > Chargers RB/WR/TEs as players in the group

What is your hottest take for this game?

squirrelpatrol: 7 catches and 60 yards tonight more than double his total NFL output in both categories.

headChopper: Brandin Cooks finally gets loose for a 100-yard game.

kmurray03: finds the end zone.

Bobby Gomes: The game exceeds 60 total points in a narrow Chargers win. throws for over 300 yards.

Predict the final score of the game.

squirrelpatrol: DAL 31 – LAC 27

headChopper: DAL 34 – LAC 27

kmurray03: DAL 31 – LAC 28

Bobby Gomes: LAC 31 – DAL 30
