Fresh off the announcement of her new album, Radical Optimism, Dua Lipa gave a classic, lowkey outfit a bit of sporty spice. The singer took a post-breakfast stroll with her boyfriend Callum Turner this morning in Los Angeles, and both the singer and the actor opted for athletic ’fits.
Lipa wore a simple base outfit: a white T-shirt layered under an open, oversized button-up, blue jeans, and a pair of Ugg x Palace Tasman slippers complete with colorful patches. But the Uggs weren’t the only Palace collab that the singer was rocking. The pièce de résistance of the outfit was a black-and-yellow Gucci x Palace moto jacket, from the Italian house’s 2022 collection with the skate brand. The leather jacket, which features a roaring panther motif, originally retailed for over $11,000, but now fetches a resale value of around $16,000.
Turner also leaned into the sporty theme, wearing a black zip-up jacket and black track pants adorned with a white stripe.
The success of Drive to Survive has created a noticeable Formula 1 influence in fashion as of late. Late last year, Kim Kardashian ran errands in a pair of low-waisted black leather pants with a red-and-white racing stripe; Louis Vuitton’s spring 2024 show saw a host of front-row attendees in race-wear. Now Dua Lipa is the latest to hop aboard.
