Eicher: Eicher launches new series of heavy vehicles with up to 1200 Nm of torque: Details

Eicher Trucks & Buses has launched a new range of heavy-duty vehicles known as the ‘Non-Stop’ series. The series comprises four trucks, including the Eicher Pro 6019XPT tipper, Eicher Pro6048XP haulage truck, Eicher Pro 6055XP, and Eicher Pro 6055XP 4×2 tractor-trucks. The manufacturer says that the newly-launched vehicles feature engines that are both fuel-efficient and powerful.The new range includes the following vehicles.
Eicher Pro 6048XP: A 48-tonne vehicle powered by a fuel-efficient VEDX8 engine delivering 300 hp and 1200 Nm torque.
Eicher Pro 6055XP and Eicher Pro 6055/1 (4X2): These tractor trailers are driven by an VEDX8 engine, providing the same 300 hp and 1200 Nm torque.
Eicher Pro 6019XPT: This tipper draws its power from a VEDX5, 5.1-litre 4-cylinder engine that belts out 240 hp power and 900 Nm torque.

At present, Eicher boasts of over 850 touchpoints, more than 425 authorized service centers, and over 8000 retail centers for parts across the country. The company said that it provides ‘Eicher Site Support’ for assistance at remote locations, with over 240 sites serving over 150 customers and supporting over 12,000 vehicles directly at customer sites.
By leveraging 100 percent connectivity for all heavy-duty vehicles, powered by AI and machine learning, the company provides remote and predictive diagnostic solutions to facilitate maximum efficiency and minimal downtime to the fleet owners.
The trucks are seamlessly integrated with ‘My Eicher,’ a fleet management service providing insights into fleet performance, including running hours, fuel efficiency, idle time, driver behavior, and training needs.
