Aussie Hollywood hunk Hugh Jackman’s fans have reacted to a behind-the-scenes photo from his first Met Gala appearance as a single man.
The actor had previously attended the Met Gala six times, the first in 2004, with his then-wife Deborra-Lee Furness before they split in September 2023.

As a couple, their attendance at the prestigious fundraising night — known as “fashion’s biggest night out” — at the Metropolitan Art Gallery in New York included each of the last two years before they separated.
Ahead of this year’s event, Jackman revealed via Instagram that his suit was the same Tom Ford tuxedo he wore to his first Met Gala in 2004.
“Let’s go #MET,” he captioned the photo on Tuesday.
“My original Tom Ford tuxedo. Refitted and repaired.”
Some eagle-eyed commenters looked past the vintage suit, more interested in what was behind the actor in his New York apartment.
On the floor appeared to be a stack homewares including a large bowl, books, artwork, a black mat and a cake stand.
“Hugh needs to furnish his apartment/townhouse. Poor guy,” one person said.
“Don’t look now but someone stole your coffee table,” a second commenter said.
“There are these places that sell side tables and wall units. I think it could really help you with lifting the vibe of the room. Oh and nice suit!” another person added.
“What is that bowl on the floor?” yet another commenter asked.
Jackman and Furness announced their split in a joint statement to People.
“We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” they said.
“Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”
Jackman and Furness said they would make no further statement about the separation.
