Fatal multi-car crash at Princes Hwy and Old Mossy Point Rd claims young driver’s life

A young driver has been killed and two other people injured in a multiple-car crash on NSW’s south coast.

Three cars collided near the intersection of the Princes Hwy and Old Mossy Point Rd, Bimbimbie, about 5.30pm Tuesday.

NSW Police said officers arrived at the scene to find the 23-year-old male driver of a hatchback involved had died.

Paramedics treated a 46-year-old woman and 35-year-old man, who were the drivers of the two other cars involved, for minor injuries at the scene before they were taken to Moruya Hospital.

A crime scene has been established as forensic police scour the crash site.

Both lanes of the Princes Hwy were closed for several hours but have since reopened.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
