Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Fighter‘ started off on a positive note at the box office and is inching closer to Rs 100 crore. The film is expected to enter the coveted club at the end of its four-day extended weekend.
On its opening day, ‘Fighter’ earned Rs 22.5 crore and added Rs 39.5 crore on Friday and Rs 28 crore on Saturday, reports sacnilk. This aerial action drama stands at a total of Rs 90 crore in three days. The advance booking for Sunday stands at Rs 10 crore, reports Sacnilk. Going by these figures, ‘Fighter’ will definitely cross the 100 crore mark after its Sunday collection is accounted for.
Directed and co-produced by Siddharth Anand, ‘Fighter’ also stars Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, Karan Singh Grover, Ashutosh Rana and Sanjeeda Shaikh in pivotal roles.

Speaking about working with the actress, Hrithik had shared, “With Deepika, it became really easy because she brings realism to her work, so I was consciously just bouncing off her bat, each line she says is coming from a deep place and I could tell this is real, and if I don’t maintain that I might look like I am overdoing things, so I had to make sure I am acting that frequency. Thanks to her, every scene between Patty and Minni look so extremely vulnerable, extremely endearing and very, very real.”
