Popular food influencer, Karan Dua, known for his Dil Se Foodie vlogs, has recently purchased the newly-launched Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. Dua took to his Instagram channel where he shared a video of him taking the delivery of his Shotgun 650 bobber-style motorcycle, which has now started to arrive at the dealerships.
The much-anticipated Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 was launched in January 2024, priced from Rs 3.59 lakh, ex-showroom. The retro-futuristic designed motorcycle houses a 648cc, air-cooled, twin-cylinder engine that produces 46 hp and 52 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. This model is slated between the Super Meteor 650 and Continental GT 650.
The RE Shotgun 650 boasts several key features, including an LED headlamp and a digi-analogue instrument cluster equipped with a navigation system. Additionally, riders can benefit from the newly introduced Royal Enfield Wingman in-app feature, providing real-time updates on the motorcycle’s location, fuel and engine oil levels, service reminders, and more. Other notable features include a USB charging port, a flat handlebar, mid-set footpegs, and a single-seat setup, enhancing both functionality and style for riders.

The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is equipped with 43 mm Showa USD forks at the front and five-step adjustable rear shock absorbers. Braking is managed by a 320 mm front disc brake and a 300 mm rear disc brake.
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 offers riders the choice of four colour options: Stencil White, Plasma Blue, Green Drill, and Sheetmetal Grey. As seen in the video, Dua has chosen the Stencil White trim, which is priced at Rs 3.73 lakh, ex-showroom.
Dua has been known to be a fan of Royal Enfield motorcycles and the ‘dug dug’ exhaust note associated with it in India. In fact, he had a food review series named ‘dug dug’ in which he used to explore food chains and outlets across the country on his Royal Enfield Classic. With this purchase, the influencer is aiming to bring back the ‘dug dug’ series as he posted “Shotgun 650 Bobber Style Is Now Launched. I booked my Shotgun 650. Our DugDugDug Series Will Be Back Soon.”
