In NSW, drivers on an unrestricted licence can accumulate 13 points before being banned from getting behind the wheel.

Authorities caught on after the delivery worker was stopped on April 13 for an illegal u-turn, and twice again in the week following.

However, each time he handed over an expired French driver’s licence, meaning police had no idea they were dealing with a serial repeat offender until they checked with Transport for New South Wales.

His record is marked with hundreds of blemishes including unpaid fines and riding a motorised scooter without a licence.

He has now been ordered off the road and his behaviour has been described as “terrifying”.

Police are also looking into how he was able to go undetected for so long.

He will face Burwood Local Court at the end of May.
