Chennai-based global software-as-a-service (SaaS) company Freshworks has reserved 2,200 tickets exclusively for its employees to watch the recently released movie “Jailer” starring Rajinikanth. The CEO, Girish Mathrubootham, announced this on the social media platform X. The film’s release date, August 10, saw many companies in South India declare a holiday, with Freshworks providing free tickets for its employees. Freshworks, founded in 2010 as Freshdesk and rebranded in 2017, is a Nasdaq-listed company valued at $12.2 billion. “Jailer” also stars Mohanlal and Jackie Shroff. Fans celebrated the film’s release, and theaters across Tamil Nadu were packed with viewers excitedly waiting for the first day first show.
