After making some appearances on TV shows like ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ and ‘Growing Pains’ in the 1980s, Matthew Perry got his major opportunity when he was cast as the witty character Chandler Bing in the NBC sitcom. The show was about a group of friends in their twenties living in New York City and also featured Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer. This popular series first aired in 1994 and continued for ten seasons, gaining a new generation of fans in recent years due to streaming services.
The cast, who remained close-knit over the years, came together for a highly appreciated reunion special on HBO Max in 2021. During this special, Perry became emotional when talking to his former co-stars about their unique and strong connection.
