Fujifilm has introduced a new smartphone app called XApp, which replaces their previous Camera Remote app. XApp offers improved features and reliability for image transfer, sharing, remote control, firmware updates, and more. Fujifilm acknowledges the dissatisfaction of previous app users and assures that XApp has been built with enhanced functionality and optimized usability. The app is designed for Fujifilm’s GFX System and X Series digital cameras, and it requires Bluetooth functionality in the camera. Older camera models may not be compatible with XApp, but most popular models, including those for underwater imaging, will be compatible. XApp will be available for download on May 25, 2023, for both iOS and Android users.
