An 83-year-old grandmother, who shocked the world with an X-rated interview about her love life with her 37-year-old husband, has disclosed the reason behind their sudden divorce. British woman Iris Jones has admitted that she feels foolish and should have known better than to get involved with her “toy boy” husband, Mohamed Ahmed Ibriham. The couple met on Facebook in 2019 and, despite their 46-year age difference, got married a year later in Egypt, Ibriham’s home country. They gained global attention after Jones discussed their active sex life on national television. However, their love affair eventually fizzled out after the grandmother grew tired of taking care of him. According to a source, they continued to have a sexual relationship, but Jones was left to do all the household chores, leaving her exhausted and uninterested. Jones confirmed she did all of the cooking, cleaning, and tidying up. “I’m better off without him, and I wish I had listened to my family and friends, but it’s too late now,” she told the Daily Mail. She compared Ibriham to her first husband, whom she preferred, and stated that she is content being single with her new cat. Jones, 83, was in a relationship with Mohamed Ahmed Ibriham, 37, who had a 46-year age gap. Jones has not seen or heard from Ibriham since their breakup and revealed that he has taken all of his belongings and is not welcome back. “My friend said it was destiny; she’s very spiritual,” Jones said. “I think it was his appearance that I fell in love with. If he were bald and had a pot belly, I doubt I would have been infatuated with him. Right now, I don’t feel love for him; instead, I feel foolish and I should have known better.” According to a source, Ibriham was blindsided by the breakup and took it very badly. There was a cultural divide between the couple, with Ibriham only speaking Arabic, which irritated Jones. “She liked to have the windows open, but he didn’t, and he was such a hypochondriac that he went to the doctor more often than Iris even though he’s only half her age,” the source added. Jones made headlines worldwide in 2020 when she appeared on ITV’s This Morning and discussed her intimate relationship with Ibriham in a segment titled “My Egyptian Toy Boy Isn’t After My Money.” She left the hosts embarrassed when she shared explicit details of their passionate nights together. “The first night was pretty rough, very rough,” she admitted. “Nobody had been intimate with me for 35 years, and I felt like a virgin again.
