A woman fishing off South Australia’s Limestone Coast has captured incredible video footage of a great white shark attempting to take the first tuna she’s ever caught.
Isabella Sesto had been trying to reel in the fish for about 90 minutes when the 4m shark approached about 20km off Cape Jaffa.

The great white took a bite out of the tuna just before Sesto managed to get the fish on board her boat.
“My heart’s kind of broken but pretty cool,” Sesto said in a video posted to social media.
“I’m happy but I’m sad. I don’t know what to feel.”
Sesto told 7NEWS the shark attacked the boat’s motor after it missed out on eating the tuna.
“He just kept circling the boat and gave us a few smiles … we were going to give him a pat but his teeth were just there,” she said.
Earlier this week, a South Australian woman was mauled by a suspected juvenile great white shark near the Beachport jetty, about 82km southeast of Cape Jaffa.
The woman’s family have said she is expected to make a full recovery.
Sesto said while she now has an incredible fishing story to tell, she also had an important message for people getting into the water: “It is their environment and SA is really (well) known for sharks.”
