Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Definitive Edition has found a new home on streaming platform Netflix! Containing Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the Definitive Edition is available as a free download to Netflix subscribers. To access the game, simply login to the Netflix app on mobile, head over to the games section and find the trilogy of GTA games. If you’re not a Netflix subscriber, then the GTA Trilogy can also be purchased from iOS and Android app stores.

In addition to containing the classic PS2 trilogy, the Definitive Edition features a host of enhancements across the board.

This includes new lighting and environmental upgrades, as well as high-resolution textures, increased draw distances, modern controls and a new targeting system.

Other new features include updated weapon and radio station selection wheels, upgraded mini-maps with improved waypoints, the ability to immediately restart a mission, and Rockstar Social Club integration.

However, it’s the new and improved visuals that are the real star of the show on mobile.

Fans can expect higher resolution textures, impressive new shadows and reflections, plus improved water and weather effects. That’s on top of increased draw distances, plus enhanced detail in trees and foliage.

The news comes just a short time after the reveal of the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer.

Featuring two playable characters, the new Grand Theft Auto takes place in the state of Leonida, which is based on Florida. Vice City will be the main city.

“Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet,” Rockstar explains.

GTA 6 is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2025, with a PC release expected the following year.
