Is ‘Star Wars’ coming back to Fortnite?

Fortnite is teaming up “Star Wars” just in time for Star Wars Day.

According to a post on fortnite.com, there’ll be something for every “Star Wars” fan in 2024’s collaboration.

LEGO Fortnite will allow players to unlock “Star Wars”-themed builds and decor, defeat enemies with a Wookie bowcaster in Battle Royale, rock out at a Mos Eisley Cantina-inspired area at the Festival Jam Stage and players of Rocket Racing will be able to unlock a podracer with a Darth Maul decal.

The “Star Wars” quests in Battle Royale will end Tuesday, May 14 at 6 a.m. Arizona time.

Where to get Darth Vader’s lightsaber in Fortnite?

If you’re playing Battle Royale, you’ll be able to use Darth Vader’s iconic red lightsaber to block incoming fire and swing at enemies — or just chuck it directly at opponents.

To find the legendary saber, you’ll need to find Darth Vader’s ship and go head-to-head with the galaxy’s most feared villain.

Other updates to Battle Royale include Millennium Falcon co-pilot and everyone’s favorite “big walking carpet” making his Fortnite debut. You’ll just have to find him and save him from the claws of the evil Empire.

Stormtroopers and their E-11 blasters will make an appearance in the new update.

How to get Chewbacca skin in Fortnite?

The galaxy’s favorite Wookie, Chewbacca, has arrived in Fortnite, and if you want to add him to your team, you’ll need to purchase the Premium Reward Track from the new LEGO pass.

Go to the item shop under the “Passes and Fortnite Crew” tab. Chewbacca will be available in LEGO Pass for 1,400 V-Bucks or players can upgrade to the Premium Reward Track on the LEGO Pass screen.

Players have limited time to decide because Chewbacca is only available through July 23, 2024.

How much is ‘Star Wars’ in Fortnite?

Players should be prepared to spend a pretty penny to get everything that comes with the new “Star Wars” Fortnite event.

Fortnite will have over 10 different skins available to purchase, including new additions like Chewbacca, Dagobah Luke, Lando Calrissian, and more. Some returning skins include Leia Organa, Finn, Kylo Ren, Rey, and Han Solo.

If you’re looking to own all of the new skins, build items and upgrades will set you back 12,000 V-Bucks. For context, purchasing a bundle of 5,000 V-Bucks will cost you $36.99.
