The X440, which Harley has co-developed with Hero MotoCorp, is available in three variants namely Denim, Vivid, and S with prices ranging between Rs 2.29 lakh for the base variant and Rs 2.69 lakh for the top-of-the-line S variant. Both prices are ex-showroom.
It is interesting to note that the manufacturer has already received more than 25,000 bookings for the X440.

The X440 is powered by an air/oil-cooled, 440 cc, single-cylinder engine that belts out 27 hp and 38 Nm torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission and also features a slip and assist clutch.
Suspension duties are carried out by a 43mm USD fork and twin shock absorber unit with 7-step pre-load adjustment at the rear. For braking, the motorcycle is equipped with a 320mm disc on the front wheel while the rear gets a 240mm disc. It also gets dual-channel ABS as standard. This motorcycle rides on an 18-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel.
Other features include alloy wheels (from Vivid variant onwards), a TFT dash, Bluetooth connectivity, LED lighting, and more. With this offering, the American marque has forayed into the growing, highly-competitive, mid-capacity segment in India.
