Earlier, Hema had watched Gadar 2 in a theatre and praised Sunny’s performance as Tara Singh. She also said that she felt like the era of 70s and 80s after watching the film. Esha has also been celebrating the success of Gadar 2 and posting good things about the film on her social media handles.Talking about Gadar 2, till now the film has minted Rs 493 crore at the Indian box office. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film also starred Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur and Ameesha Patel in the lead roles.
Gadar 2 is a sequel to the hit film which was released in theatres in 2001. In the film, Sunny Deol played the role of Tara, a truck driver, while Ameesha Patel played Sakina in the film that was set during the partition of India in 1947.
