On Thursday, Congress leader Digvijaya Singh posted a video on X wherein BJP leader Narottam Mishra spoke about making Hema Malini dance. Mishra sparked a controversy with this clip as he can be heard saying, “Mere Datia ne udaan bhari toh sanskritik karyakram se lekar Hema Malini tak ko nachwa diya (My Datia started flying, even Hama Malini was made to dance).”
When ETimes contacted Hema Malini, the actress reacted and said, “I have already spoken to my seniors about it and they are looking into it.”
Mishra was claiming about the development of Datia by mentioning that even a Padma Shri awardee and the OG Dream girl has performed there.
