Hema Malini has graced Ayodhya with her presence ahead of the highly anticipated Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Mandir, scheduled for January 22. The veteran actress, who is already soaking in the vibrant energy of the preparations, took to Twitter to express her excitement and share her experiences as Ayodhya gears up for this historic event.
In her tweet, Hema wrote, “The world awaits with bated breath the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla when he returns to his rightful place in Ayodhya.I too am here amidst all this air of excitement, when everyone is chanting Jai Shri Ram, and I am getting goosebumps seeing and experiencing everything. Jai Shri Ram!”

Earlier, on January 17, Hema presented a dance drama based on the Hindu epic Ramayana, adding to the fervor surrounding the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. In a video message shared before her performance, she expressed her joy, saying, “I am coming to Ayodhya for the first time at the time of the ‘pranpratishtha’ of Ram Temple for which people were waiting for years… On January 17, I’ll be presenting a dance drama based on Ramayana in Ayodhya Dham.”

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony has attracted significant attention, with a VVIP guest list that includes luminaries from the entertainment industry. Notable personalities such as Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Kangana Ranaut, Madhuri Dixit, Hema Malini, Sunny Deol, Rajinikanth, Prabhas, and many more have been invited to participate in the auspicious occasion.

Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla commenced on January 16, a week before the main ceremony. The main rituals of the consecration ceremony, to be performed by priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit from Varanasi, are scheduled for January 22. The entire city of Ayodhya will be immersed in the Amrit Mahotsav celebrations from January 14 to January 22, marking this historic milestone in the construction of Ram Mandir.
