Hero Karizma XMR silhouette reveals front design: Launch on August 29

With the launch of the new Karizma XMR on the horizon, the page of the model has gone live on Hero MotoCorp’s website. The manufacturer had already teased the motorcycle multiple times recently. Yet again, this time on the website page, Hero has showcased a silhouette of the motorcycle, which shows that it will feature an aggressive front design with a sharp headlight, a muscular fuel tank, and a sporty fairing.
The Karizma XMR is expected to be powered by a new 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It will be paired with a 6-speed transmission, as indicated in a high-tech invite we received from the manufacturer days ago. The engine will be getting the DOHC architecture, which will likely enhance the top-end performance of the motorcycle.

Apart from a fresh design approach and new elements, the motorcycle will get features such as a split seat, a dual-tone fuel tank, telescopic forks at the front, and a preload-adjustable monoshock unit at the rear.
The new Karizma is slated for an August 29 launch and can be expected to come at a starting price of Rs 2.05 lakh, as speculated from a cryptic post by the manufacturer on its X (formerly known as Twitter) handle.
With the launch of the Karizma XMR, Hero marks the return of the iconic Karizma brand. The Karizma has been a popular motorcycle in India since its debut in 2003. However, the brand was discontinued in 2020 due to dwindling sales. The Karizma XMR is expected to be a major addition to the growing entry-level sports motorcycle segment in India.
