Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou has given fans a glimpse of what she looks like before and after having her makeup applied on set.
The popular actress didn’t quite get the transition moment right in her Instagram video, joking: “Of course I screwed up the effect,” with the hashtag #techsavvy.
In the “before” shot, Ada is makeup free, with her long brown hair loose and flipped over to one side.

In the “after” shot, she has transformed into her character Leah Patterson, sporting a full face of makeup and Lea’s blowdried, middle-parted hairstyle.
Fans loved the Logie nominated star’s willingness to show herself makeup-free on social media.
And everybody seemed to agree on one thing – makeup or not, she always looked “stunning”.
“You look fabulous as always Ada!” one follower wrote.
“Better than ever!” added another fan.
“Always beautiful inside and out. Big fan of Home and Away for many years,” said a third.
One follower said Ada was “radiating good vibes” in the video.
Another simply wrote: “You are beautiful!”
“Are you wearing make-up in the first shot?” one person asked.
“If not, you don’t need make-up. Natural beauty.”
Ada recently delighted fans with an emotional tribute to her son Jonah, calling him “my light and my heart”.
The actress shared a series of photos and videos from their family holiday to Europe to celebrate his birthday.
The pictures showed the family at the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum and enjoying pizza and pasta.
The family holiday meant the actress couldn’t attend this year’s TV WEEK Logie Awards, despite having been nominated.
“Hey, everyone, how are you? I’m really good. Well, not that good because I’ve got some bad news,” she said in an Instagram video announcing she would be absent.
“Unfortunately, I am missing the Logies this year and it’s just bad news for me because I love the Logies.
“Especially this year, because I’m also nominated.
“Unfortunately, I am not going to be there because I’m on a family holiday, but thank you so much for voting for me and also for everyone else.”
