However, their journey started with a different concept and a modest budget of $250, operating out of their parents’ garage. Initially, their plan was to design work and canvas prints after noticing the outdated décor in hotels they had visited. They aimed to fill a gap in the market by producing exclusive designs as canvas prints for artists both locally and internationally. Despite facing challenges and obstacles like many entrepreneurs, they were committed to making their idea thrive. Their parents’ dedication and assistance inspired them to combine their middle names to create the business name Milton & King. Nowadays, the brothers collaborate with over 100 designers worldwide to create stylish, high-end wallpapers. One of their recent collections, The Secret Garden Collection, curated by Maine House Interiors founder Amy Spargo and hand-painted by Sydney-based artist Bethany Linz, showcases ornate lattice designs covered in delicate florals and vines. The collection pays tribute to a classic design style popular in Europe and the United States for centuries but has been given a contemporary twist to suit modern interiors. Milton & King’s wallpapers have become immensely popular worldwide, attracting a large following on Instagram with close to 150,000 followers. Shopper reviews are highly positive, with many expressing their obsession with the unique designs and praising the quality and ease of installation. Bryce and Richard have no plans to halt their success and have recently launched a dedicated wholesaler program to expand their brand’s physical presence in local stores.
