  • Wash & soak 50g (1/4 cup) split moong dal with 40g broken wheat in hot water. In the meantime wash and chop 1/2 small onion, 1/2 tomato, 1/2 carrot.
  • To a pressure cooker, add daliya, moong dal, chopped vegetables with 1/4 cup peas, 1 tsp of grated ginger, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 packet of magic masala & 300 ml water.
  • Put the lid on and cook for 4-5 whistles on medium heat. When ready, garnish with 1/2 tsp of ghee and fresh coriander. Pair it with a pickle of your choice.
