Her homemade creation has just 380 calories while the fast food chain’s version contains 450 calories (1890kJ).

To make the fakeaway, you’ll need a brioche bun, chicken breast schnitzel, light mayonnaise and lettuce.

“Homemade McChicken burgers for 380 calories each using only affordable ingredients I found at Aldi,” Bec said in an Instagram video.

“These are super quick and easy to make.”

The video shows her baking the chicken in an airfryer before assembling four burgers in just minutes.

Bec topped the base of the bun with chicken, followed by lettuce.

“I normally chuck the buns in the airfryer — but I actually enjoyed them fresh and soft,” she said.

She then smeared the lid of the bun with mayonnaise before placing it on the burger.

“It’s the perfect thing when you feel like Macca’s — you guys have to try these,” she said.

Her video has been viewed more than 1.1 million times, with many confirming it’s their favourite go-to dinner.

“I’ve been making these for my kid’s from Aldi for a couple of years — quick and easy meal when you don’t want to stand over the oven,” one said.

Another suggested: “Looks exactly like it! But better”.

One claimed: “I’m a Macca’s worker and can confirm these are 100 per cent better than McChickens”.

Another added: “We have been having these for years. So good and great for camping. Nice easy meal”.

Bec previously revealed how she made a low calorie version of McDonald’s Big Mac burger at home using Aldi’s brioche bun, lean beef mince, Praise Deli burger-style sauce, Coles smoky cheese slice, pickles, lettuce and diced onion.

Her burger contains just 420 calories while the fast food chain’s has 564 calories.

“So simple to make and I’m actually surprised how much it tasted like McDonald’s. Except (mine) was so much more filling due to it being over 30g of protein,” she said in the video.

To make the burger, Bec shaped 100 grams of lean mince into a burger patty.

“Press it down with a plate to make it flat,” she said.

She cooked the patty in a hot pan on both sides, then topped it with a slice of cheese while she toasted the brioche bun in the same pan.

To assemble, she added 19g of the burger sauce on the toasted bun, followed by fresh lettuce, diced raw onion, beef patty with cheese and pickles.

“Definitely give this one a go… I’m loving it,” she added.
