REAL-LIFE WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY OF PRIYANKA GOGIA

How much did you lose in how many days?

I lost around 30 kgs in over a year and a half.

What was your weight loss diet (what drinks you had, did you eat fruits etc) and routine?

The diet with DTF78 was very basic homemade food with a few cheat meals. As for drinks, my main focus is to stay hydrated by primarily drinking lukewarm water.

Did you completely cut-down on sugar?

No, not at all. But I started eating sensibly and I cut on sugary foods as and when I could, replacing them with healthy alternatives.

Did you have cheat meals? If yea, then how many times in a week? What is your go-to cheat meal?

Yes, I indulged in a lot of cheat meals, if not every week, but maybe in a month or so.
My go to cheat meals are gol gappas, momos and desi mithais

What is one rule that you abide by for losing weight?

Consistency- there may be so many ups and downs, cheats and distractions, but just be consistent with your diet and workout

What was one thing that worked best for you?

I would say mix of both- diet and exercise

One challenge that you faced and how did you overcome it?

To make time for online classes. I switched to online classes and still lost weight.

Is there a weight loss myth that you got to know about during your journey?

There are many fad diets out there that promise quick results. But, adopting sensible eating habits as a lifestyle choice will help you in the long run.
