How to get your vehicle’s PUC certificate online: Step-by-step guide

It is mandatory to have a valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate for all vehicles in India. The PUC certificate is a proof that your vehicle‘s emissions are within the permissible limits. You can get a PUC certificate from any authorized PUC testing center.
Although the process to get a PUC certificate is primarily offline as it requires you to take the vehicle for testing, you can still download the certificate after it has been tested for emissions. Here’s how. After getting your vehicle tested at the PUC centre and you are done paying your fee, the valid certificate can either be collected from the centre itself or can be downloaded from the website. In case you have misplaced it, it is easier for you to download the certificate online (it should be valid at the time of downloading).
