OPPO has launched the A78 smartphone in India, featuring a 5000mAh battery and 67W fast charging capability. The device runs on ColorOS 13.1, based on Android 13, offering improved privacy and performance. It boasts a unique design, with the Aqua Green version utilizing a double-layer process to create a water-green base layer with a diamond matrix pattern. The Mist Black variant has a pure black base with a touch of yellow-green, giving it a metallic gloss. The A78 is equipped with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, a 50MP main camera, and a 2MP depth camera for bokeh effects. It also supports Dual-View Video function and features Dual Stereo Speakers with Real Original Sound Technology. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage, with additional storage expandable up to 1TB via microSD cards. The A78 runs on ColorOS 13.1, based on Android 13, and supports 67W SUPERVOOC flash charging technology. It can charge up to 73% in 30 minutes and reaches a full charge in about 45 minutes. The smartphone focuses on battery reliability and safety, with features like Optimised All-Day Charging mode and 5-layer charging protection. The OPPO A78 is available in Aqua Green and Mist Black colors, and will be available for purchase from August 1 onwards at a price of Rs 17,499.
