The actress who played a pivotal role in ‘Don’, reacted to the news of Singh taking the franchise forward. In her statement to a news portal, Koppikar gave Ranveer the thumbs up and shared that according to her, the actor was the ‘natural choice’.
In an interview with IndiaToday, the actress said that the franchise has been through changes with the role being passed down from Amitabh Bachchan to SRK and now to Singh. Raving about the heartthrob, Isha said that Ranveer seamlessly embodies the roles he signs on and effortlessly transitions between his many on-screen characters. She added that it was this ability to ‘adapt’ that helped him get the coveted role.
Not just that, she added, “when it comes to carrying the torch forward and elevating the DON legacy, Ranveer stands out as the natural choice – his charisma and talent make him not just fitting, but truly deserving.”
While Ranveer has been confirmed as the leading man for ‘Don 3’, Kiara Advani is rumoured to be in the running to play the female lead. The film backed by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar is scheduled to release in 2025.
