Isuzu D-Max: Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z pick-up truck launched in India: Price, specs, features

Isuzu Motors India today launched the all-new D-Max S-Cab Z variant at an introductory price of Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). The company has introduced this top-end variant in five colour options – Cosmic Black, Galena Grey, Splash White, Nautilus Blue and Titanium Silver.
Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z: Exterior
Projecting an aggressive stance, the new Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z variant comes equipped with LED Projector Headlamps with LED DRLs, front fog lamps, an eagle-inspired chrome grille. The side profile is further flanked by chrome-finish door handles and tailgate handle, power-adjustable ORVMs with turn indicators, sporty roof rails, six-spoke wheel overs and a gun metal shark fin antenna.

Talking about the comfort, the Isuzu S-Cab Z gets ‘Keyless entry’ and stylish anti-skid sidesteps. On the inside, it has piano-black finished trim elements, a leather finish steering wheel with mounted controls. The pick-up truck also comes equipped with dual-tone black and dark grey premium upholstery and height adjustable headrests.

For on-board entertainment, the Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z sports a 7.0-inch touchscreen audio system with 6 speakers and multiple USB ports. Furthermore, it is equipped with a rear-parking camera for ease of parking. Other interior features include cup holders on the centre console, power windows with auto up/down driver window, map lamp, sunglass holder and vanity mirror on the rear of the co-driver sun shade.

Under the hood, the pick-up truck is powered by a 2.5-litre ISUZU 4JA1 engine. For safety, the Isuzu S-Cab Z comes equipped with dual airbags, speed-sensing door locks, cross car front beam, rear seating with ISOFIX anchorages and BOS (Brake Override System), which cuts power to the engine in case of panic braking.
